The Current Parish Priest
Son of Alejandro Santiago and Celestina Juliano, Msgr. Angel was born in Hagonoy Bulacan on December 11, 1951.

After graduating at Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary in Guiguinto, Bulacan in 1969, he was sent to study in UST Central Seminary where he finished AB in Philosophy (1973) , Bachelor in Philosophy ( 1973, magna cum laude) and Bachelor in Sacred Theology ( 1977- magna cum laude).

He was ordained a priest in St. Anne's Church, Hagonoy, Bulacan by Most Rev. Cirilo Almario, Jr., D.D. Immediately he was assigned as formator-professor in Immaculate Minor Seminary. After serving two years, he was assigned in Assumption Parish in Bulacan, Bulacan as parochial vicar. The following year he served the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Valenzuela City as parochial vicar. In 1983 he was assigned back to the minor seminary as vice rector and became the rector the following year.

In 1986 he studied Moral Theology in Rome. He finished his licentiate in 1988 (magna cum laude) and his doctorate in Sacred Theology in 1990 (magna cum laude).

In 1991 he went back to the Philippines and was assigned as the parish priest of Bustos, Bulacan at the same time teaching in Immaculate Conception Major Seminary in Guiguinto, Bulacan and San Carlos Seminary in Makati. In 1996 Bishop Rolando Tria Tirona made him the rector of Immaculate Conception Major Seminary.

In 2002 he went to USA and served the Diocese of Trenton, in New Jersey.

When he went back to the Philippines in 2007, Bishop Jose Oliveros, D.D. assigned him as the parish priest of Nuestra Senora del Carmen in Barasoain, Malolos City. At present, he is holding the same responsibility while serving as the episcopal vicar of the central district, member of the Council of Priests and Board of consultors of the Diocese of Malolos.
